Dear MCOBA Members,
TABUNG KEBAJIKAN MCOBA
MCOBA JPM have approved the establishment of a 'Tabung Kebajikan MCOBA' and is extending this assistance effective from February 2012.
1) The assistance is in the form of cash for MCOBA Members who are affected by:
- Death of a member (to be given to benefeciaries)
- Death of a direct dependant
- accidents resulting in disability
- critical and terminal illness
- illness requiring regular treatment eg dialysis etc
2) The Assistance
- RM 1,000 for death of a member
- RM 500 for death of a direct dependant
- Not more than RM 1,000 for case mentioned above in 1) to be given on a one time basis, assistance
4) Eligibility
- Active members (Those who are life members and for ordinary members those whose annual payments are up to date)
- Those whose socio-economic conditions require such assistance and determined by the TKM panel.
5) Request and Mode for Payments to be made
- No forms need be filled
- Members need only to inform the MCOBA Secretariat by sms,email or by telephone.
- The TBK Panel will meet and payments will be made to the benefeciaries of member within a week after the TBK panel agreed to the payments.

The Panel currently consist of :
- The Chairman of the Religious and Welfare Sub Committee MCOBA
- The Hon Sect
- The Hon Treasurer
- A JPM Member
- Executive Secretary (Secretary)
MCOBA has made an allocation to the Fund and any contributions can be made addressd to the Chairman Religious and Welfare Sub Committee payable to MCOBA.
