The first talk in FSV (Fiat Sapientia Virtus) series of dinner talks will be organised by The Malay College Old Boys Association (MCOBA).
Date : 29th July 2009
Venue : Mahkota Ballroom, Istana Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Time : 7.45 pm
Dress Code : Lounge Suit
The talk this year will be presented by Professor David Collis, an adjunct Professor in Corporate Strategy, of the Harvard Business School; Boston, USA entitled 'Corporate Strategies in an Economic Downturn'. This topic is appropriate, especially in the current global economic downturn, and it is hoped that it could assist in contributing, albeit in a small way, towards finding innovative solutions for the Malaysian Corporate Sector.
MCOBA, established in 1929, has been involved in activities relating to the upliftment of education in the country. Based on the experience and extensive network which the organisation and its members have, it was felt appropriate that MCOBA embark on presenting a series of talks especially in current affairs, economic, corporate strategies and leadership to the private and government sectors. This talk is the first in the series.
All proceeds for the FSV series will be for the 'Education Fund' of MCOBA, which will be used for the enhancement of education both for its members and all Malaysians.
